Cubierta Solar rolls out solar energy projects at various locations in Spain and manages all the authorisations required for their connection to the grid and commissioning. The implementation of a solar installation involves complex arrangements, given that the sector comes under a special regime. We have an administration department dedicated to securing the licences required for projects of this kind:
- Connection point to the electricity distribution company
- Provisional REPE (advance entry into the regional registry of electricity producers under special regime)
- Drawing up of a project approved by the College of Engineers
- Regional authority approval
- Construction permit
- Security deposit (500€/kW for installations greater than 20 kW and 50€/kW for those under 20 kW)
- Recording of the project in the Registry of Advance Allocation of Compensation of the Ministry for Industry
- Signing of contracts with the electricity distribution company and technical verification of the solar energy installation
- Tax and administrative arrangements for the operation of the installation
- Provisional commissioning, prior request to the Ministry for Industry.
- Definitive REPE
- Definitive registration and final connection
Once definitively entered in the registry, the installation is regarded as definitive and from then onwards becomes subject to the economic regime stipulated for solar energy installations.
